K&N Filter

Any thoughts on a K&N air filter versus a stock paper filter? The K&N is quite a bit more money and I have run them in other cars, but am not sure about usage in a MINI.

Ours is a n16 turbo engine.

Thanks!

I have used them in several cars. Honestly I have no real way to prove if they actually do anything. Some people have issues when re-oiled that it dirties the sensor (MAF). Never had a problem with that, just don't over oil.

I think next time I am going to stick with OEM or an after-market dry filter.

Yeah, I used one on my F350 and did not have any issues with it either. I was just curious. Thanks!
