Hi, I know that many owners have removed the letters on the trunk lid, but I like the look and have bought the letters. Can someone provide a few measurements for me. I am looking for the distance from the bottom of the latch to the top of the letters, and the distance between each letter. See the pic (not my car, found on web) below.

Down is 4 and 3/8

Spacing is complicated. Center between T and R is 2-5/8 top of R to top of Y is 2-3/8 Y to M is 2-1/2 bottom of M to bottom of A is 2-1/2 and bottom of A to N is 2-1/2.

Going out the other direction top of T to top of N is 2-1/2 N to U is 2-5/8 U to O is 2-5/8 and O to C is 2-1/2.

I managed to get the letters on over the weekend. I went with the measure 37 times stick once motto. I decided not to reinstall the Cooper badge. Here is a quick poorly taken pic. I need to get a new MINI emblem for the trunk handle, mine is in bad shape. They are a bit expensive here in Canada.
