Since Forbes labeled the Coupe as one of the ugliest for 2013, sales may drop.

A $750.00 rebate is a good incentive.

Good. I can remain unique in this world of Honda Civics, Toyota Camrys and BMW 3 series (that everyone leases, and don't own) and stay out of the herd that all too often wants to follow some idiot over a cliff.

But I digress...

NewCooperFanatic 12-04-2012 09:45 AM

Forbes is on crack.....I've received nothing but compliments since I drove the car off the lot.

reducati 12-04-2012 11:50 AM

Me too... Lots of thumbs up!... Anyone who decides what car to buy based on a magazine impression based on subjective looks ain't buying a Mini anyway.

jamesday24 12-05-2012 05:09 AM

So glad I only paid JCW Coupe money instead of McLaren money to have an ugly car. Imagine how embarrassed McLaren owners must be.

Gosh that's funny. I'm with you James. I'm pretty happy. Ugly and I paid no where near that kind of dough. Heck how man JCW's can we buy for the McLaren money????

I'm a pretty happy camper and the folks I talk with like the car as well. I just don't know what all the fuss is about. LOL

mellocooper 01-25-2013 07:53 PM

Even in northern Chicagoland where minis are common I don't think I've seen a single coupe. I saw a roadster the other day but it was a service loaner. Talk about rare cars, I've seen more Fisker Karma and Nissan Leaf!

reducati 01-26-2013 05:56 AM

im in chicago, put about 13k a year driving around chicago/ burbs and have yet to run in to another coupe...but i kinda like that!

R58 01-26-2013 08:41 AM

I worked in Chicago all summer, had my coupe with me, drove out from Jersey and never once saw another coupe except mine.

I do a lot of driving and never see another coupe

97! Only a double-digit sales month for the Coupe. Your MINI Coupe isn't going to be any less rare anytime soon with those figures.

Deli 02-02-2013 03:42 AM

If I put a deposit down in December and a car is delivered in March, which month is considered the sales month?

NewCooperFanatic 02-02-2013 10:06 AM

I wonder if they will stop production in the near future?

I'm almost certain Scion has surpassed those numbers in sales for the FR-S...or will very soon.

I'm certain MINI did not predict such poor numbers.

reducati 02-02-2013 03:38 PM

the winter months are always lower sales....spring is right around the corner!

Pretty sure it's when retail delivery happens. So in your case, March.

Yep. Deposits are farts in the wind. Sale counts when you sign on the dotted line, and not a moment sooner. (Unless someone backdates your paperwork while you're not looking.)
