Yep, the wind noise sucks a little bit, but it's only really bad when I'm doing 160kph+....

Now, after a huge snow storm last night, the summer tires sure aren't getting me anywhere this morning. Snow day it is!

The tech drove all the Coupes they had on the lot and they all had the wind noise - some more than the others. Maybe it's normal for the model, but it certainly isn't normal for a $30K car.

I had radio settings installed that my wifes key did not. ie-daytime running lights, radio settings and others. Using both keys or with hers in her purse and mine in my pocket confuses the computer. Not having either key in the dash may be the problem--

How fast are you going to get the noise? I haven't experienced it yet. I was doing about 80 in some pretty windy weather over the weekend and heard nothing.. Now the runflats... lol those things are LOUD.

Is it just me, or did the windows on my 2010 Clubman go up automatically?

Do you mean on a long 'hold' of the window up toggle?

I guess I'm just remembering wrong.

I could have sworn after swiping into the gate at work, I would just flick the toggle and put my card away as the window was rolling up. Holding the toggle "up" on my Coupe has just felt wrong since the first day.

I am glad I am not the only one that had that feeling. I have the same routine at work.

I wonder if that can be 'fixed'.

Without the tape it's definitely noticeable on the highway, passenger side more than the driver's. In fact everybody I gave a ride to thought the door wasn't shut.

Now the runflats - that's another story...

Huh. I haven't had that experience. My GF would have said something had she noticed the wind noise.

I don't have any wind noise either. I've had my car in the upper reaches of the speedo but no noticeable wind noise to me.

I don't even mind the run flats. I just crank it up.

Other than that, I love my Coupe

No, I have owned front wheel drive cars before this S Coupe. As a matter of fact, I owned a '04 MCS for seven years with 105,400 miles before this MINI. This car wanders back and forth----

Doesn't your window roll up automatically with a quick toggle up? Don't hold the toggle switch, just flick it up. The window should continue to automatically roll up.

At least it does on a Countryman.

That's not true. FWD is no more prone to wander than RWD. Sounds like an alignment or tire issue.

It does sound like there's an issue with wandering. Mine is arrow-straight on a nice smooth road; if there are ruts, however, then it starts to ride between them a little bit. Still, it's nothing scary at all, it just makes me focus on driving even more!

They can't put a pinch sensor on a ragtop so the Roadster doesn't have the auto-up windows. The Coupe is basically a hardtop Roadster, so it doesn't either.

Just be glad the service tech didn't hand you a stick of Juicy Fruit and tell you to start chewing if you wanted to be done faster.

Been driving for a week and my only tiny issue is a little clunk on the rear passenger area. Not sure what it is but it only happens on big bumps. Everything else is perfect.

Four weeks and 1300 miles, no rattles, nothing wrong!
