Boot (trunk) Lid Opens on it's own
 

My boot will pop open on it's own. I start the car and drive a very short distance and the boot will pop open. Tonight I could not get it to open with the handle or the key fab. I tried the key fab a couple of times and the boot opened. When I got home I could not open the boot with the handle. Seems to be random. I can't seem to do something that makes it pop open. Has a mind of it's own. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a short in the wire / water isssue of the Handel grip has a bad connection and shorting.

Thanks for the information. It makes sense that would be the problem. I will take a look.
