H&R springs, is this height correct?
I installed some H&R Springs over the weekend the front came down normally looks lowered but the rear seems a little bit off....
It looks almost too high in the rear I don't know if it's supposed to be like that or if I did something wrong... I even tried swapping out shocks when I had it on the OEM shocks it was the same right now it's on Stagg shocks.. Can anyone confirm if this is how it's supposed to look.. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.nor...4230a5b9b2.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.nor...68c48881ec.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.nor...849fdc223b.jpg |
I had same results after installing Eibach lowering springs.
Ended up cutting 3/4 coil off the springs and it sit almost level now. Spring rate increases when cutting springs but ride quality is still good. |
Yeah, rear looks high. Maybe you got the convertible or Clubman springs? Those are longer in the back due to the extra weight.

Just cut 3/4 of a coil off the top rear coils. It will give look you want

https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.nor...39829d961d.jpg I guess I'm just going to have to cut off 3/4 of top of spring off..... I have to say the ride quality is nice but the looks it is just not what I was expecting, I'm actually pretty disappointed in these lowering springs.... and I'm not a fan of cutting springs.. |
It looks like that, it'll settle a bit more

Yes give it some miles before you cut the spring. I did NM springs years ago and it took a few days of driving for everything to really settle in.
