PCV Delete + OCC - my intake manifold looks... different...

Hello all. I was looking at possibly undertaking a PCV delete + OCC (still looking at all the relevant threads for- and against-) when it warms up.

However, in all the threads I looked at with pictures showing the PCV hose and delete points, I noticed that the intake manifolds pictured do not look like mine. I am attaching some pics of what mine looks like (I ran outside in sub-zero temps to get the pics!)

In short, the PCV hoses are much different. I had to have the entire manifold replaced when one of these little rubber hoses got weak and collapsed. Under warranty... but still...

Thoughts on why my intake is different than most that I have seen? And how can I do the PCV delete on this one? (or can I even do it?)

Thanks,
-Michael

You have the "cold weather manifold installed on your vehicle". On a vehicle with a normal intake the pcv is routed into the intake behind the throttle. In freezing temps the excess moisture freezes the throttle and you have starting and running issues. Luckily for you u have the updates intake which injects the pcv gas into the manifold right before the cylinder and no more freezing throttle issues.

Thanks Tylerlanger. Once you mentioned the 'cold weather manifold', I looked up some more threads and did find it. I still have not seen anyone do a PCV delete on the manifold side though.

Some guys talked about it here. But were using it for a possible carbon cleaning mod.

But used for a TSB on iced throttles. Cold climate.
