Old news

christomapher 10-20-2011 09:11 PM

Gosh it's such a waste of money!

gds194 10-20-2011 09:14 PM

Let's face there are a lot of people that enjoy to "waste" money - Like people with high paying jobs...

Neitherfanboy 10-20-2011 10:38 PM

What is, or isn't, a "waste" is subjective. To each their own.

cop1406 10-26-2011 12:03 AM

You have to remember, some people have money to waste. If I did, I would buy one.

AXO 10-26-2011 08:43 AM

I like it, but would not part with $50k for it.

SCMountaineer 10-26-2011 09:25 AM

Would love to see one in person...from the pictures just doesn't look like its worth double the price (or nearly that).

2009R56JCW 10-26-2011 09:28 AM

Looks better than the Gucci Fiat 500.

SCMountaineer 10-26-2011 10:20 AM

Thats for sure. Anyone know what a Gucci 500 sells for?

Anything more than $5 is too freaking much.

christomapher 10-26-2011 10:44 AM

The Goodwood looks great, but seriously, they want us to pay ~$20,000 extra for an appearance package. I guess if all you plan on doing is collecting it, then maybe it would make more sense to go for this limited edition.

RickDRoberts 10-26-2011 07:10 PM

Well, the 1% seem to be spending cash on cars. I live in Houston and lately I see more exotic cars on the road. Not just the run-of-the-mill Jag here-and-there, but hardly a day goes by when I don't see a new Ferrari, Aston Martin, Masarati -- I even see Bentley's driving around getting groceries. I'm seeing people commute in these things. I had a red (yeah, red -- I know) Bentley convertible blow past me on the toll road going to work last month. It's getting a little silly when you see a Lamborghini sitting in traffic at 7:30.

So, yeah, the Goodwoods will probably sell.

BTW: Speeding enforcement on the freeways around here is almost nonexistent. It's not like the autobahn, but we drive 80 around here just to keep up with traffic.

I would venture to guess a fair number of people have spent $20k personalizing their MINIs... People spend $2,000 to have new bumpers on their cars. It's all subjective.
