Will MINI follow BMW's financing?
Right now BMW has specials for 0.9% financing. Mini's best financing is 2.9. Think they will follow suit in April?
BMW has had finance specials like that for a looong time. MINI not ever.
Who knows? maybe we'll get lucky. |
The current deals expire March 31'st so here is hoping for lower interest rates, otherwise i will just go with PenFed
Wish I had a crystal ball; I just signed the papers yesterday for a new JCW coupe, getting the 2.9% for 60 months.
If I believed there was much chance of MINI offering .9% within the next few months, I'd hold off. My dealer has a TON of cars on the lot; they don't seem to be moving very quickly. |

That's cool that you got the 36 month promo interest rate on a 60 month finance.
Oh, that makes sense. Depending on how April goes at work i will be shopping for a new mini. Worst case scenario there is penfed
If you have to order a Mini, is there a way to take advantage of these financing deals? Or is it just a crap shoot on what they will be offering when your car finally arrives?
As far as I know, there aren't any financing deals with orders; but I've heard of folks getting better discounts on the MSRP with an ordered car than with something off the lot.

It would be nice if they offered the rates on the convertibles.
I've ordered mine but dont know my rate yet since it was more then 30 days out. Just an approximate between 5.5 and 6%. How does it work if I use my credit union or bank for a loan? Just tell them the amount and they give me the check (certified?) to bring to the dealer? And if I tell them the rate I got at bank or wherever, what are the chances they would match/beat it? (I've got very good credit rating) |

Really? I always hear the exact opposite...That you will always get more of a discount on the lot cars than the custom orders.
I'd guess that with the current financing for inventory cars, it's tougher to get a price discount than with an order. |
So its april first but mini is still updating. SHould be interesting to see the changes.
I'm crossing my fingers... I ordered mine early last month.
Was I dreaming or did anyone else see this on the MiniUSA yesterday? I thought I saw the promotional finance rates had been extended to I think it was June. When I went back later of course I couldn't find them.
"New offers just around the corner", it says.
I didn't see that, but honestly, wasn't looking that hard. If it were the case the would still be up there.
I read on another post here that Mini for the month of April is offering:
1.9% for up to 36 months 2.9% up to 48 months 3.9% up to 60 months Of course not valid on the new covert. |
I just received a call from a salesman, informing me that the 2.9% financing for JCW cars has been extended; no further details, though.
If that is true, I'll dance the jig....
Hey, would a salesman lie???
3.9 for 60 months isn't to bad. At least it is as cheap as PenFed.
I don't live in Vegas, but I was surfing the web and noticed what is printed on their MINI homepage matches the financing rates above:
