'10 Clubman S Suspension question
Hello all,
I have a 2010 Clubman S R55. Ive been in the market for something new all the way around to make my ride smoother. It's pretty rough currently, but replacement is overdue and I'm looking into aftermarket options. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions. Im looking for something that gives me a smooth ride and good handling rather than a stiff shock designed for performance racing/driving, but something that doesn't hurt the wallet to much. Any suggestions are much appreciated! Thank you!

What's your budget? I feel like most folks are going to something stiffer than the S stock shocks and struts. Koni FSD are a good mild option: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-koni-par...46/87451022kt/
I have my take offs that had 40k miles on my S before I took them off. If I can find them you can have those for the cost of shipping =)

Thanks for the input, I will check out the Koni's, they look like a solid option. I don't really have a budget but I just don't want to spend anything to wild (I have to do brakes all the way around so that one will be a little bit steep) I appreciate the offer on the used shocks! but I think I am looking for new. Also, will I have to get new springs as well or will the original ones be fine as long as they aren't cracked or anything?

Koni FSDs will be a good stock replacement, and will work best with your stock springs. The KONI’s have fancy valving that is supposed to make them ride nice, but still be firm and sporty.
It is exceptionally rare that OEM springs go bad, unless you live in a rusty environment and they get too rusty.
By the way, that FSD kit listed above if the wrong kit for your Clubman. Here is the correct kit:

I prefer Bilsteins. The Bilstein B4 kit is a decent stock replacement also, and less expensive:

Whatever shocks you end up with, also get this kit:

Thank you for your reply, I will look into both of those options. I see on the Bilstein's it says w/o sport suspension. How do I find out if my mini is equipped with the sport suspension? And does it matter which struts I install wether or not they are with or w/o sport suspension?

your timing is excellent…I was just cleaning out the shed so let me dig them out. PM me and we’ll make it happen. The S stock ones are yours. I also have brand new FSD shocks that I bought when my wife complained about the stiffness of the Bilsteins but I decided I’m keeping them and we drive her car instead….

I daily drive my JCW R55 work truck, but have our TSW KW coilovers on it which ride firm but not harsh.
But wanting the smoothest ride I would recommend our KONI FSDs as like others said these do ride the best, and still perform to keep the handling intact.
