What's the best "Size doesn't matter" slogan for the MINI? ...or... funny  .

MichaelD Mar 19, 2003 07:55 AM

How about:

"It's BIG ENOUGH when the mood calls for it.

I like the 60's british bumper sticker - could also be a rear window banner:

You've been Mini'd!

aperez49 Mar 19, 2003 08:24 AM

back in the day there was a make your own MINI billboard contest on Roadfly and my favorite said something like:

"MINI, for when you have no need to over-compensate"

MG-BGT Mar 19, 2003 08:30 AM

As much as I try, most of the time I come up with slogans that state that
"Size does matter", but really SMALL size does matter.

My favorite one is gleaned from the Dark Side in Star Wars:

Size Does Matter
MINI:
Quicker, Easier, More Seductive

"MINI: parallel parking just got easier"

"It's not the size of the wand it's the magic in it..."

"If people buy large vehicles to make up for other inadequacies then what does it say about a man who buys the smallest car available? (horse whinny)"

"it ain't the Meat, ... it's the Motion"

Would you rather eat a rat or a dead bird?
Would you rather lose your arm or your leg?
Would you rather drive a MINI or a Pinto?

Well, at least some decisions are easy.

MINI, it's what's for motoring.

The best things come in small packages
or
like my licenece plate will say..( cause I'm a big guy) 2XL n a XS
or
MINI: Where egos are bigger than the cars
MINI: Because cars still don't fly....
MINI: On the contrary, you can screw in the back seat.( it just so happens you're in the front seat at the same time)
MINI: Objects outside may seem larger than they appear

orfeu Mar 19, 2003 09:41 AM

once i was told "you should be worried when every women you know associates you with the word MINI."

the only response i could come up with was: "hey, i'm just overcompensating for an enormous...."

jimmer0 Mar 19, 2003 09:50 AM

If you drive a huge SUV you're compensating,

If you drive a tiny MINI, you're ADVERTISING!!

MINI: Only enough to make thing matter.

Because small cars bring people closer together

(everyone in unison) AAAAAAWH!

When my MINI was new I'd put in a new paper plate each week with a different slogan. The one from the MINI web site, "Goliath Lost" is good but I made my own used it until my California Plates came.

"It ain't just my upper lip that's stiff!"

Cheers.

I think Jimmy Buffett says it best (see my sig)

Hi all,
Nice exchange, I appreciate the wit. Here's a couple for my .02.

"Objects in the mirror may appear to be losing"

or a picture of a MINI facing you with a caption
"Just in case you've never seen the front of a MINI, ..here it is."

Dream Big, Drive small, Live long, love much (hippie-esque)

Confusious say, if size were all, the tiger would not fear the scorpion..

MINI: When the road hugs back (everyone once again, AAAAWWWW)

MINI: The little screamin' hauler, that really loves to do the twist...

MINI: The funnest distance between two points...

MINI, cause turn about is fun play.

MINI: See you around.

Deep thought
Welcome to the wonder ful world of MINI, where the only black and white issues, are checkered, and Race-ism is a good thing.

Roses are red, Violets are Blue,
My Cooper S rocks.
The End. (thought you knew

Mini. Lifes adventures always start small.

EliteCooperS Mar 19, 2003 08:45 PM

just read my sig!

Let's not overcompensate for other shortcomings, let's motor!

that would be so sweet on a licensce plate frame or a decal

Ryephile Mar 19, 2003 08:56 PM

Let's pick our nose and eat it
Let's scratch our butt and like it
Let's burp and not apologize for it
Let's enjoy life to the fullest
Let's Motor!
