Sup guys, I bought my first a Mini a few weeks ago. After about 2 weeks of reading reviews and opinions I opted for a R53, the hard part was getting it at the right price since lots of owners price them pretty high. I found a 06 pepper white with 82K miles, the car was well maintained but needed a good detail and tires. I removed a clear bra that apparently was on since new along with the stripes. Along with needing tires it is in need of struts, I thought about just getting koni yellow and call it a day but I wanted more. I research lots of companies then stumble across Flatout Suspension, a U.S. based brand that valve the suspension specific to your needs and offers a 5 year warranty with a much faster turnaround. I saw a thread in regards this company but the guy ended up cancelling the order due to selling his R53. I ordered the 5700 R53 coilover with comfort spring rates. I will provide a review once I install them.
BTW if you are in the Santa Clarita, CA area and need your windows tinted and a great detail on your car check out Autoskinz they offer outstanding service. I got my windows tinted, clear bra and stripes removed as well as the car detailed.
