What do you guys/gals do for the creaky seats?

My seats are creaking really bad. Comin' up on a year, and I have mentioned the seats everytime I've taken the car in, and they've "lubed" them. They always start creaking again real bad about a week out of the service. It's been a problem for a while, but I've never made an effort to fix it myself.

What can I do? Anyone have any good solutions that we can all learn from? I don't want to WD-40 them, cause my car will smell. Is grease the way? Is it a matter of keeping it lubed up, or is it making sure all the bolts are tightend up?

Thanks!

try adjusting your seat just a bit - sometimes that'll work

Otherwise, don't bother with the dealership and their "lube', use the best: Boeshield T-9. Just to be sure, get in there and check your seat bolts too.

Good luck,
Ryan
