I had this same thing happen to me in Darien, CT. This guy was telling me that his second-gen Integra was getting something like 33 mpg.
A)What made you think I give half a dizzam about your milage?
B) I seriously doubt your crica 1990 'Teg runs like a hybrid (There was a black smear all over the bumper above his tailpipe)

Other than that:
-Girls dig the Coop. I think we've established this. Mostly it's "Ooooh! You have a MINI!" (This can be the only time it is good for a guy to hear this from a girl.)
-Most commonly heard: "Is it fast?"
-Most commonly heard (inside the car): "Where's the door handle?"
-After my friend drove it: "Dude, this is totally not a chick car."

Are you sure you're not talking about the AMC Gremlin/Spirit? The Pacer was the one with all the glass that looked like an inverted bathtub. The Gremlin was the chopped off looking one. I had the misfortune to own one.

How'd you get this thing over 140? I thought they were governed at 135? I would imagine the governor would be hard to get rid of since its probably built into the computer.

A while back I made up this bumper sticker and placed it in the boot window.

unfortunately, I also get a lot of "it's (so) cute," especially from girls...drives me nuts.

Shortly after I originally got it, I had a group of teenagers drive by while screaming "that's the ugliest car I've ever seen" out of the window...pretty funny/ironic since they were in some 80's clunker.

fortunately, I tend to care little about what others say and consider it a cool car despite what anyone says

So the MCS is governed at 135? Well, that explains a few things...
