does the june build 2002 mini cooper s have brake pad sensors?

I'm not sure if ANY 02 had 'em ... they came a bit later, maybe with the beginning of 03?

I have an '05 MCS and if I remember correctly the sensors are on the front left and right rear pads only. Apparently they're not on the early models.

thanks for saving me 30 bucks plus tax, the dealer told me there were sensors for the rear only but i doubt that because it wasn't even mention it in the manual.
