Drive to Dixon for British Meet
 

Who would like do a drive to the All British Meet in Dixon on May 21. I am thinking this would be a good excuse to visit a few back roads in the area just south of Lake Berryessa.

This is what I was thinking for a route.

Meet at 9am in Rockville on Suisun Valley Road just up from the 80 Exit then continue to Wooden Valley Road to Capell Valley Road and make a short stop at the Corners then continue on Capell Valley to Pleasants Valley Road to Cantelow Road to English Hills to Peaceful Glen and Dixon Ave on to Dixon.

Just in case anyone wants to take advantage of the Seven Enterprise Open house, REME mountian run here is another option:

May 20, 2006 (Saturday): REME - Seven Enterprises Open House (10AM-2PM). Then REME run in the mountains, dinner and drinks in Nevada City Saturday Night. Stay at the Comfort INN in Auburn. Sunday AM leave for UBSCC car show in Dixon. RSVP FORUM (MAP

This is a Saturday/Sunday event. All are welcome. Details and maps on Redwood Empire Mini website. We also got a good discount to spend the night at Comfort Inn in Auburn.

Just a reminder about the May 20th weekend.

For those of you that are planning to go to the Seven Enterprises Open House on Saturday, May 20th, REME has planned a 105 mile (approx.) run for Saturday PM after the open house. The Open House is from 10AM– 2PM. The next day is the British Car Show in. Thought we could attend the open house, go to the hotel, check-in, take the 2 hrs + run, ending up in Nevada City for dinner, music and drinks. Then spend the night in Aurburn and leave for in the AM. Everyone is welcome to join in.

Take the Foresthill Exit of I80.
Rooms are Single King or Double Queen, smoking or non-smoking. Ask for Renee Dowd, but you can make reservations with anyone at the front desk.
Cutoff date is April 21, 2006.

Sounds like a fun run Norm. Don't think I will be making the overnighter. So I will still be doing the run listed above. Will look out for other Minis if any show up. There is a nice coffee shop at the intersection in Rockville.
