May have stripped a rear strut tower bolt...Help
So, installing my H&R rear sway bar. Watched the how to video from agranger and felt very confident to attempt this. Well everything is going great until torquing down the 13mm rear strut tower bolts. I set my craftsman click type torque wrench to ~86 nM per the video and outmotoring instructions and now have seemed to have stripped the threads.
Anyone know what the torque should be? Could my torque wrench be out of spec? What are my options to repair this?
Thanks in advance.
Mike

Yes, 68 ftlbs seems like a lot for those. I didn't use a torque wrench for mine, but I'm pretty confident they are not coming loose any time soon. Someone with a Bentley will tell us soon...

It's like new threads. You use a certain size drill to open up the old threads, a tap, and the thread inserts.
