Two weeks ago I got my car back from Johnny's Auto Clinic where it was for three months being repaired due to a blown piston from running too lean. Johnny's took great care of me and called me weekly just to keep me up todate, like pistons being back ordered, Quaife...etc.
Now I have put about 1300 easy miles on the car and it was time to tune it, but the closet guy to me was an 1100 mile round trip. By shear luck I found a guy named Emil that tuned my car to run safe and for the air/fuels to me perfect. After he was done I never expected the gains I recieved. On my first dyno pull I put down 180whp and running a bit lean and having the car pull timming. Emil started from there and tweeked it a few times and by my fourth pull the car put down 234whp with safe air fuels and no timming being pulled.
The drive home was a blast and the car pulls hard all the way to 7500rpm. I'm glad to be back in full swing and thankful for meeting Emil. I have a feeling he will be tunning my E55 as well. I have attached a pre and post dyno from today, they open in Adobe reader.

The TQ was 175wtq but I left the sheet at work near the scanner. I'm guessing peak was around 5k.

Thanks Nick, did you notice your face in the video? The car pulls very nice and smooth, in a way the car almost feels lighter.

That is the best news I have heard Mario. Congrats man. I'm glad you got it back. I've been thinking about your car since day one and wondering how it will be so much better.
Now I have to drive down to So. cali. to visit so we can go for a spin.

Ok I'm back at work and the the max TQ is 2900rpm at 175tq and and drops to 170tq at 6000rpm. The TQ graph is pretty flat.

Did Emil tune for high HP sacrificing TQ in the process? I would have thought that with what you have in your car, 185 to 190 TQ should have been in doable.

Did Emil tune for high HP sacrificing TQ in the process? I would have thought that with what you have in your car, 185 to 190 TQ should have been in doable.

I wonder what they could of done with my car????
That was crazy seeing you guys today... My crackberry battery is dead and I left my charger at the house up north.
So how was it today? Did you see the junk yard on State st...????
It was funny.... We were standing in the middle of State st. checking out all the hardcore lowriders.... Then Grady turns to me and says super loud... "I thought you said there was going to be cool cars here"...
So does MarioKart feel alot faster or what????
