Anybody have any of these?

Borbet 16 x 6.5 with a 45 offset. From what I can see Borbet makes a good wheel. They are supposed to be a direct fit. Feedback?

Very nice looking wheel. I have no experience with that wheel. My Miata had a set of Borbet Type C wheels on it. They appeared to be a very high quality wheel. If you like them I wouldn't hesitate to buy Borbet's. My only concern would be, how much do they weigh?

I searched and didn't find this Borbet rim. They don't make many that are 16x6.5 or +45 offset. What is your source?

Further, not all Borbet rims will fit on the latest R56 MINI due to the change in bolt size.

Are these knock offs or something discontinued?

What is the hub bore size on the wheel? MINI has 56.1mm hub bore.

Wheels are represented as having been made by Borbet for Euro Spec Sport with a 56.1 mm center bore and that they will fit the 02-06 MCS. They were found on the link below:

Those look like a factory VW Golf wheel, which is not a bad thing. VW has several good looking wheels.

a had a set of Borbets on my Focus SVT. I found them to be very soft. They where Borbet Type T's (5 spoke design) so this may not apply.
