Post your 16" Wheels

Ok, some peeps started to do this in another thread but I want everyone to see this (and hopefully participate) so I started a new thread.

Please post the following (if possible):

make/model of wheel
offset
size of tires
if the car is lowered, let me know what ya got!
and of course, let me know if you had any rubbing problems

I would really, really, really appreciate it! At this point I have selected 2 wheels I want. One comes in both 16 and 17, one comes only in 16. 16's look good but I just can't decide.

Thanks much!

Kirk

16" wheel threads

Here are some 16" wheel threads ...

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ighlight=wheel

These are my 16" OZ Superleggera wheels. Lots of wheel arch gap because of high speed turn.

Here is a set of 16" OZ Ultaleggeras from another post.

Here are mine. ASA JH6 wheels from Tire Rack. You can find the spec's there. Stock ride height, my car must clear road kill.

I went with 16's for a better ride. Happy with my decision.

Man, now I'm liking those Ultraleggeras How do you think a graphite silver would look on a jet black/jet black cooper?

Hey Bee1000n,I recognize those wheels. I see you every now and then on the 805 headed north in the am and at times taking the Via de la Valle exit. Your wheels look great. If you were to drop it it would just get better. I'm running 16's now as well. I was running 18's when we saw each other. I'll be lookin for ya.

I remember seeing you at Via de la Valle one day. It's always nice to see an enthusiast's Mini. You'd think San Diego would be full of them, but I rarely see a modded Mini. As far as lowering my car: suspension changes are a medium priority on my mods list, behind a pulley and brake upgrade but ahead of exhaust and an aero front bumper.

Hope to see you soon on the mean streets of the morning commute!
