Hey Everybody!!

My wife and I are considering buying a Mini from an independent seller.
We are wondering if the mileage is too high to considering purchasing, and how much longer will the Mini last?


It's a 2002 mini Hard-Top for $14,750, it has 89,000 miles.
It has a super-charger, double sun-roofs( 1 opens), 2007 rims, dynamic stability control, no navigation, has multi functions, also heated seats.

I purchased my first Mini just 2 weeks ago. It's a 2004 MCS, Liquid Yellow with 31,000 miles. I looked at and drove 10 or so before choosing this one. I was pretty picky about the accessories I wanted. It was funny, I was going for a white cream color but when I got into this yellow one it was love at first sight. If you check out kbb.com (kelly blue book) they put your retail price at $15k. Your price seems pretty good compared to kbb. If you like the car and it drives good and looks like it has been taken care of then you should be fine. There are people on these forums with more miles than 89k so this car should have more life in it. Call your local mini dealer and see if you can see the service records and definately check carfax.com. They often have service records listed as well.
