I'm having SU Carb problems and need someone to diagnose. I don't want to have to go all the way to Costa Mesa where most classic mini mechanics seem to go for some reason.

I recently did my 1st ever carb rebuild on a used SU I bought from 7 Enterprises. That SU carb is incredibly simple, it only has about 8 moving parts! I have the Haynes SU Carb book which gave me the confidence to to the rebuild myself. Depending on what the problem is, if you are at all mechanically inclined, buy a rebuild kit and do it yourself.
