Happiness is a warm MINI...first impressions

Wow wow wow! What can I say that hasn't already been
said about the MINI...it's fun, fun, FUN! The first
500 miles has been the best driving I've had in a
LONG time -- the car handles like a charm, the fit
& finish is uncommonly stupendous, and it turns heads
wherever it lands!

If you're on the outside looking in, hey don't think
twice about getting a MINI. I'm talking from the
perspective of a true newbie: never drove one before
purchasing the Cooper S last Saturday. My only
comparison is two '94 Miatas I loved dearly but gave
up along the way. It's nice to have a car that fits
like a glove again...you drive it, it doesn't drive
you!

And I haven't even hit that 'sport' button yet!!

Happy as a clam in Seal Rock,

Glad to hear you're enjoying! I love the thread title. Mind if I steal it for a song parody?

Glad you hear you're loving it. Once the engine is broken in, you'll probably love it even more.

Motor On!

Thanks to all for the warm welcome and kind comments!

Now I'm pondering a vanity plate for the MINI.

Wonder if the Oregon State Police would mind if I mounted INIW upside down? Has anyone tried this yet? Did they let you out after 30 days? Did you have to do community service?

I'm sure all the good plates have been taken so I'll really have to think long and hard to find a unique vanity moniker...

Hi John, Im glad to hear you are enjoying your MINI! You'd be surprised what plates arent taken or what kind of combinations you can come up with. I had to resort to using a 1 instead of an I but it still gets the point across. Let us know if you need to be bailed out
