2007 Motoring accessories catalog

I guess I'll post here so everybody can check it out.

I stopped by a local dealer to pick up some touch up paint and found the 2007 edition of the Motoring Accessories catalog.

Lot of pages chocked full of photos. There's even a fold out poster of a Lighting Blue Cooper S. It also has a separate booklet that lists all the accessories by part number. Some notable details:

Ipod MINI Interface. From the text, you get full control of the ipod. You can browse by playlist, artists, albums, genre and podcast. There's a picture of the two line stereo display showing the artist name and track name. List price is $319.

MINI Portable Navigation. It looks like the Gramin Nuvi 360. The only differences I see is the MINI name on the unit and a MINI icon on the screen. The configurable icon is very detailed and it even has the checkered roof. The text mentions a suction cup mount but it shows the unit mounted next to the tachometer on the left hand side. The list price is $750 . I know you can find the 360 for much less. But you get the nifty MINI icon and the custom mount.

Boot box. I saw a picture of this on miniusa.com. But the catalog gives some more details. The hard cover acts like a false floor if you will and if you fold the seats down, you get a nice level floor. Very nice touch. I wished this was offered for the older models. List price: $236.

Seatbelt holder: It mounts to the headrest post and holds the belt so it's within easy reach. List $36.75.

Rechargable flashlight: Mounts where the cigarette lighter would be. Doesn't mention if it has a LED bulb. Here's one accessories that can be used on all years. List: $23.50.

The CD changer lists for $725

In terms of Motoring Gear, I see a couple of new watches, a MINI themed fridge and a what looks like some sort of chair.

There is a different boot box that is "only" $80, which has movable dividers and can be flipped over to create a level floor with the seats down. This one is available in versions for R56, older models, and convertible.
