Anyone with Tuscan Beige? Happy?

Hey everyone,

I misstated this in a thread attempt earlier. Saw TB at our local dealer and liked it a lot, nice hand(feel), just wondering about its livability.

Are the seats not picking up your pants dye? Initially this sounds like a weird question, but I live in jeans and a beige interior on an earlier vehicle started to pick up the dye.

It's been a while since I saw it, dealer is an hour away, so if anyone has any pics, I'd really appreciate it.

TIA

Mark

Sounds like the problem is not in the seat material, but is in the pants material.

Wash yer pants a coupla times before wearing 'em. =o) And yes, light colored leather can discolor pretty easily.

You may want to inquire how MINI treats its leather. My Audi has vat dyed leather which is now 7 years old and looks like new and no degradation of color. I would suspect that MINI being a BMW subsidary should be equally as good. The Beige is pretty light and prone to getting dirty, but if you are fastidious then you should have no problem.

Get out of jeans? Neither my Family or partners would recognize me! Plus, they are almost always sorta ratty. Kidding aside, it's clearly a clothing issue. None of my German cars have ever had a problem with their leather, but then neither did they feel as soft as the one time I sat in the TB.
