Greetings. I know some of you have been getting a little antsy about registering for AMVIV, and I find that very flattering. It's so cool that you all are so enthusiastic to come and see us again!

Anyway, I'm sending this out to let you all know that AMVIV4 registrations are now open. Go to http://www.amviv.com/reg.htm to register. After you fill in and submit the demographic and contact info on that page, you will go to the payment page. Please read all the notes and info on the page. I only put stuff on there that I felt was important, such as the fact that banquet tickets are NOT available except through pre-registration and pre-payment.

The schedule of events is also there http://www.amviv.com/schedule.htm though it isn't 100% set in stone yet. There may be a few changes due to circumstances beyond our control. Or some that are within our control, but that we think will improve the event.

We now have at least 32 REME member cars signed up for AMVIV4. If you are an REME member please verify that you have RSVP on the REME MegaBBS calendar as well so we know who is going. Also if you are going, please verify that you have registered with Sin City MINIS and that you have your hotel accomodations reserved.

 

I haven't sent out the weekend's confirmations yet, but I have sent a confirming email for EVERY RECIEVED registration payment. If you haven't gotten a confirmation email from me, we haven't received your AMVIV registration.

 

Good Morning,

Reporting from the Holiday Inn in Tehachipi on Monday morning. Sorry we could not wait to get to AMVIV4 so we left a little early.

Just a heads-up that they are repaving the highway (58) east outside of Bakersfield. The highway is reduced to one lane for a few miles. This may affect traffic depending on when you come through.

Also the local weather "says" there maybe some SNOW down to 5,000 ft on Tues/Wed.

We will be arriving at the Palace Station this afternoon (Monday). We will leave a light on in the window, and a cold one in the cooler for when you get here.

Norm, hope you arrived safely. That's my concern, the weather coming off the hill and driving down Nv95.Suppose to snow tuesday here. Leaving with 2 others on wedneday morning around 7:15.Today was real nice in Tahoe and Carson City..see you in 2...Glenn
