planning on buying a Dinan intake in order to avoid warranty hassles with an M7 strut bar as i am worried about my towers mushrooming. my questions are these, will a Dinan intake cause any more noise than stock, and will an m7 strut tower clear a dinan intake without any modifications?

Don't know about the Dinan, but my JCW intake clears my M7 strut bar just fine.

 

The M7 STB will clear the Dinan with no problems.

 

The Dinan intake will be a little louder that stock - esp. at full throttle and / or high RPM. But not as loud as other CAI's .
