My dad and I went and test drove a R56 yesterday and it was awesome! Neither of us had driven a MCS before and we were impressed by everything.

He is trying to decide between a MCS or a 335i. With a MCS he would have more fun I think but the 335i is a really sweet ride. I on the other hand am waiting for the 08 JCW. If the bone stock S handled and accelerated the way it did, I can only imagine what the JCW will be like He would be going from a four door F250 with a 4" lift and I would be going from a xcab Z-71. Big changes and can't wait! I was already obsessed with getting a Mini and this has only made the wait harder...

 

Go for the MINI, it will be more fun.

 

congradulations on your test drive :D haha. i know the feeling. i'm getting one soon. so here and there i stop by dealerships asking for test drives :D Yeah. and mini would be more fun as draggonmann says. :D

 

Perhaps a career in the space program would also be to your liking?!?!?

 

i was in your situation. i test drove the new 328 manual coupe before i made my final decision. it was no where as fun as the MCS. granted the 328 is nothing like the 335i (which would cost you over 45K with sports and options) but it just lacked the fun factor.
anyhow i ordered the mcs with ss and eventually will turn it in in 3 years to get the JCW version. my delivery is in may. good luck

yes the mini is way more fun then the 328 or the 335
