Tach indications at speed

I boo-boo'ed and posted this question on the 1st generation board. I was looking for a comparision between the MC and MCS tach indication at cruising speed. The MC's 6th is a little taller than the MCS's (by .133).
Anyway, I was wondering how many rpms each was churning at 70 mph. Not just passing thru 70, but just tooling along. Like if Johnny law was admiring your ride.
Thanks folks. I will try and keep the dain bramage under control whilst I post, henceforth.

I was running very near 73 MPH at 3000 RPM in my MCS, I think.

Edit: I checked again today and 74 would be a better estimate for me at 3000.

I'm running about 2950 at 70--just about what inomis says. That's a 6-speed manual, MCS.

I'd guess 2800 at 70 MPH. I know dead-set at 3000 RPM in 6th gear the speedo says 75.
