OMG - FANTASTIC Service experience...Classic MINI

You know, I hear so many service nightmare stories on this site. Rarely does someone post that they have a good experience. Well, I have a great one.

Today, I had new tires put on (bought from TireRack (thank you!!!) and shipped to dealership), and I was going to get an alignment and have a tie rod replaced. (was quoted around $400) All damage due to the rough roads around here. They also had the dent guy come out to take out a crease dent. Was quoted $110 for the dent work.

So, I go to check out, and Zack the service manager says, "OK, here's what we did. Tie rods are under warranty. And each time we do something to the suspension, we need to align the car. So, here's your total. I was charged $24 for the tire put on and the dent work. That is it!!!

Thank you, Classic MINI in Mentor, OH, and thank you MINI!!!

...A VERY happy customer....

It's great to here a happy ending story like yours. I've heard many good things about Classic. Now I've heard another. Did you get your ASA JH6's mounted up?

Hey Classic...

Oh, sure did. I love love love 'em!! Of course, the car is filthy already with the snowpiles mixed with dirt all over the road. So when we have a nice warm day again, like say 37 degrees, then I will clean the car again and take pictures....

I just had my car at Classic today myself. Had a couple rattles and squeaks taken care of. Since they needed my car for an estimated 3-4 hours, I got a loaner. They took care of everything and even thanked me as I left. I've been nothing but happy with their service when I've had to use it.

I'm glad you mentioned the crease dent... I got a strange looking dent that I noticed recently that I should have them fix. I think it might be from a shopping cart . Barely noticeable but one I'd like fixed nonetheless. Then there's the nasty rock chip I got on my roof on route 8 last night .

You know, I just can't help wondering why more folks just don't GET IT... I mean this is what customer service is all about. Over delivering on expectations...

This certainly holds true in any industry, but it should certainly be true for any MINI dealership. Just by virtue of the image that BMW is trying to create around the MINI brand.

I guess I'm just a bit jealous . My local dealer's service department is competent, but that's about all I'll give them...

Congrats Classic
