R50/53 My MINI Toolkit
The rear cubby has great storage potential but is difficult to fully utilize. I set out to outfit it with the most complete tool kit possible and below is what I ended up with. I searched for the ultimate shaving kit / lunch bag / tool bag / etc and nothing met the cubby dimensions as perfectly as a CD holder. The holder I chose was purchased from Circuit City for $10, matches the MINI silver/black interior  and just barely fits in every dimension. I did, however need to cut off the bolt that held the original tool kit using a Dremel and spray paint. The remaining bolt head is visible in the 3rd picture. Advice: don't try to break the bolt off -- it's welded through from the other side. The tool kit has no internal organization
but it's better than nothing. It is held in place with velcro and does not rattle at all, believe it or not. I equipped it with gloves, paper towels, the tow hook, complete socket and torx sets, 3/8" ratchet and extension, pliers, needle-nose, adjustable end, jeweler's screwdrivers, adjustable bungee cord, and a keychain LED flashlight.
The jumper cable is a standard 12' 8ga set that I cut down to about 9' and fitted with compact clamps ($3 ea. at the local electronics store). You can see in the center of the coil that the red lead is shorter than the black for easy coiling.
There is actually room for a can of Fix-A-Flat above and behind the tool-kit but the 120F storage warning must be taken very seriously in Arizona

Thanks guys, glad you like it. I was worried that the bolt-cutting thing might offend some people. I won't be marketing these things anytime soon as I doubt many folks would be willing to pay $75 for a crudely gutted CD case containg a haphazard smattering of Taiwanese tools and a couple of paper towels.
Speaking of which, the Torx set visible in the photo is extremely nice and goes all the way up to the giagantic T50. I bought one set for the car and one for the garage 'cause the whole rack is only $6 at Harbor Freight.
