Cab, when you recieve your scoop there is a flow chart included done by a calibration and measurements lab. It compared our scoop tp the m7,oem trim ring and alta unit. ours outperformed all in terms of air intake increase and outperformed all in regards to smooth air delivery, which is an overlooked but essentail component...bryce

Ben, thanks for the email... the scoop has been independently tested and it out-performs the other two well known scoops as well as the OEM trim ring.
They tested our scoop against the air-block method scoop, which is similar in design to the subaru scoop, which blocks the air and then tries to force the air downwards, thus they refer to this as the block method. It does work better than the oem trim ring, but the block method creates incredible turbulance and looses 1/2 the air it blocks back out the front of the scoop, while the remainder is extremely turbulent. Ours, traps the air in front and funnels the air through a gadually diminished opening , delivering 97% smooth air, and over 147% more air than the block method.,,,more smooth air, cooler it gets....the more hp and boost increase you achieve....bryce
