The ALTA Performance Manual Boost Controller

Our boost controller has been a staple for years in other turbo applications and we are proud to bring it to the MINI community for the first time.

Once we debuted our Manual Boost Controller at the SEMA show in 2005, under the PERRIN brand check it out at www.perrinperformance.com became one of the most simple and easy to use boost controllers on the market. The crisp response and simplistic installation make it the perfect compliment to nearly ALL turbo charged applications.

Add horsepower and torque while achieving a perfect balance of response and boost level. Our unique “twist-to-adjust” boost controller incorporates a custom wound internal spring and ceramic metering ball for boost management. Applicable to all turbo charged MINIs. (This is an excellent compliment to our TWURBO™ system. We are testing this controller on our R56 now and we will begin publishing results later this week.)

2/21/07 UPDATE: As promised above the following FYI. We have been able to determine that this style of manual boost controller is NOT compatible with the R56 factory turbo and thus we are already working on a controller specific to the R56.
