E-brake Cover

I noticed today that the vinyl that covers my e-brake has come unglued completely. My questions are, how do I take the molding out, and what type of glue is used to secure this so that I do not ruin anything? I hate when these things happen to me. Any help will be great.

Happy Motoring,
Kyle

can you show a pic of what you are talking about? The cover came apart from itself? or the plastic surround?

There are write-ups of how to take it apart, but you may not have to in order to get it re-attached, depending on where it is. If just needing some glue, I use Titebond neoprene contact cement, works great wtih plastic and fabrics. I am using it to adhere Leather to my door cards and dash cover.

Thanks

the vinyl came loose from the plastic that it was originally glued to. Here is a picture of the problem.

You can totally do that without having to remove the plastic surround. That OutMotoring link above is a great write up on how to do it, might want to remove your arm rest first though....I am sure with that write up you won't have any problems.
