What's the best type of lube on bushings when intalling a swaybar (specifically, Mini Mania adjustable)? Axle grease? Thanks. JR

 

That depends, what is the bushing made out of?

 

I believe the believe they are polyurethane bushings. If not, I guess they're rubber. Could you tell me what to use for both? Thanks.

 

Think I found the answer online. Looks like lithium grease is good for poly bushings. sound good?

 

What, they didn't include grease with the bar???!! That's kinda tacky and incomplete. Thankfully the Madness bars come with grease. What kind, gee not sure. But it's gooy/sticky blue stuff.

I don't know that they didn't include it, only that my dealer didn't use it (or enough of it.) The parts came directly to them from Mini Mania. sounds like the stuff the madness bar came with is the same stuff you pack CV joints with. Looks kind of like Blues Clues toothpaste. Not that I use that...

 

The lube it a marine quality waterproof lube called Aqua Lube. Sounds like you're thinking the stuff ("Blues Clues toothpaste&quot.
