OK, Ive seen some posts on this and know that a 2 Spoke MFSW can be swapped for the 3 Spoke. However, no one has listed a price if they have had it done or if they completed it. Do all the controls work? I have an 04MCS, the steering wheel has cruise and the horn. I think there is a retro fit kit correct? Anyone interested in doing a swap?? I hate my 2 spoke, its so unsporty.

 

I'm surprised you don't like the 2-spoke mfsw. I loved mine. The "hidden radio controls" on the backside were ergonomically positioned and didn't junk up the front of the wheel like on the 3 spoke wheels. I now have an '06, w/3 spoke, and I don't like having buttons that I don't use (like the phone button) that IMO, clutter the design.

Also, I think the controls were easier to use on the 2 spoke model. I don't know if the two wheels are interchangeble...

 

Before I bought my MCS, I wanted the 3 spoke b/c of how it looked with the controls on the front. After I bought my 04 MCS I fell in love with how the volume controls and track/raido changing is on the back of the sterring wheel. It's so sleak. I honestly didn't know the 2 spoke had radio controls there before I bought it. I think it's very confient while driving at 9 and 3

 

i like the hidden controls but i had a 330i and i liked the controls on the front too, i really dig the 3 spoke alot more! someone trade me!!!

 

Funny, I'm doing the exact opposite. I'd trade you, but I already bought a two-spoke.
