Dinan software anyone had/ have issues?

My buddy works for Mini in Washington, and he claims that he gets alot of MCS's that come in that have Dinan "upgrades" installed to from stage X software to exhaust, and they see be having issues with their software. Now I have yet to see any issues with Dinan software on this board. I was wondering if it is possable that they have a "faulty" software up/down loader on their computers and that is why they are having issues pop up.

Im currently in the works of "upgrading" my 03 MCS to Stage 3 software with the intake and either JCW exhaust or Dinan(I prefer Dinan but my buddy did NOT reccomed dinan he claimed JCW is better of the car), the guys at Mini of the Woodlands(note: BEST SERVICE EVER AT MINI OF THE WOODLANDS! ) have not told me anything bad, in fact they seem to love all their upgrades.

I'm wondering if anyone out there has had ANY! issues with any of their dinan upgrades, from software to exhaust (mainly software) I want to know anything from rough idle to sputters gas milage fluxuations the whole 9 yards folks, ext. I really dont want my mini to become a money pit of maintance, I want it to a money pit of fun and joy .

My buddy also mentioned this plug and play computer upgrade thing he claims that works great anyone know of this?

Thanks in advace

Intake, exhaust, TB, and boost since April '06, and stage 5 software since August '06 all on a 2006 MCS. Everything has functioned very well, street and track, except I had some surging at 3200 RPM. It was obnoxious on the interstate but I lived with for while because I am some distance from the dealership. I returned last Monday for an air bag light and they "cleared some old adaptive codes". The car is very sumooooooth now. I do hear what seems to be the fuel pump or something resonating from vibration in the tank but there have been no major issues with it.

Oh yeah, gas mileage improved slightly after software was installed.

I have an 06 with the full S2 package (engine & suspension). So far, I have no issues with software.

The exhaust tone is fantastic, the pull of the motor and the whine of the airbox/SC is all kick a@# but what I have noticed if the left exhaust tip will become much dirtier sooner than the right tip. Due to the 1 in to 2 tubing from the single passenger sided muffler. Not a problem, but it does look a bit odd to see one tip soiled and the other clean.

I'd recommend the Dinan equiptment without hesitation.
