Anyone know of any battery powered radar detectors. I really want a valentine one but they dont offer this option?? I dont want to use a cig lighter plug or hardwire.

The Escort hardwire kit is really easy to hook up to the clock. I read that the battery ones are not very good.

Battery NFG! Hard wire, not hard. Either from fuse box or clock (there is a thread somewhere on it).

V! costs the most, but you will not regret it. Good luck.
