Have you tried ....

First post - new to Mini?

Have you tried Mini Mania? I don't get that size on their web page but as they are associated with UK suppliers and several carry that tire I'd imagine they, or Seven Enterprises, could get them. Or you could go to MiniSport.com yourself, they list them

http://www.minisport.com/classic-min...9-product.html

If you order direct from UK, be prepared for the shipping and duty charges on top of the purchase price.

You may also want to use this tool to look at alternative tire sizes

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalcold.html

There are a lot more offerings in 165/60/12 - Yoko & Falken... I wonder if a decent Yok or Falken dealer could get them for you since you know they exist.... Tire rack used to list my tires .... maybe give them a call....

min-its (min-its.com) of UK also lists a Kumho 145/70/12 in the Jan 2007 MiniWorld.

Good luck!

Maybe its time for a new wheel package!

MiniMania has this:
http://www.minimania.com/web/Item/TI.../InvDetail.cfm

I dont know what kind of tire it is, but it's intact

I know there are a bunch of places online to get tires, poke around a bit, and if you have problems come on back

good luck.

The Tire Rack has a deal on 165/70/12s. I bought my 10s from them and was very pleased with the service.

I am having problems in finding reasonably priced 165-60-12 tires, but today I found a company called www.tires-easy.com Tel. 1-800-963-1197 that supplies 145-70-12 tires at $17.40 and $20.80 plus shipping which I think is amazing. I had to ask twice to make sure the prices were correct. Can any one help with sourcing the 165-60-12. Thanks
