Redwood Empire Christmas Run & Dinner

Thanks to everyone that was able to join in. According to my count we had 24 MINIs, and 42 people participate. Very nice turnout for a day that threatened such bad weather. The weather held off as best it could so most of the run was not adversely affected. A beautiful drive through Fairfax, past Alpine Dam and up Mount Tamalpias, down to Stinson Beach to see the great big waves, on to Olema and Pt. Reyes, Tomales and then over to Occidental.

Our dinner was great, including the power outage. I think 40+ of us dining by candle light added to the evening. The Union Hotel did a great job, good service and my dinner was fantastic.

Hope everyone enjoyed the little Christmas Party at the Occidental Hotel. It did last well into the night. Special thanks to TJ and Deni Marrone for bringing the wonderful wine. That was very generous and well all enjoyed it.

Hope everyone made it home safe and sound.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hope to see you on the Jan. 13, 2007 run and visit to Huffaker Race Shops at Infineon Raceway.
