Has anyone had the JCW Sound Kit installed on a Cooper CVT Cabrio? I'm asking because after purchasing the sound kit, the dealer was only able to install the exhaust, not the airbox. I paid for the airbox and received it new in a box. I think that means I paid for the install, too, since it was one flat price for the sound kit and installation.

I recently had the chance to look under the bonnet of a Cooper non-Cabrio manual transmission with the JCW Sound Kit and see no difference from my engine bay as it relates to the air box. I can't figure out what would have prevented the JCW airbox from being installed but am sure I'm missing something--otherwise surely the dealer would have installed it. Anyone know what prevents it from fitting? What am I missing?

 

Odd cause the How-to doesn't seem to make any reference to differences to the kits except for programming the DME.

Automatic transmission coolant lines, i will have to check the etk to be sure. I would first ask the dealership.

I would have the dealerships parts department check it out, must have order wrong parts(quick fix), and call the dealership and ask service.
