I ordered my MINI S today. It felt real good. Indi Blue with white top, sunroof. Baby is due in November. Anyone have pictures of an Indi Blue "S"? It's going to be a long 5 months...I can't wait.

You'r right. The dealer I went to is taking orders for October order placement, November production and December delivery.

Nope, it takes a while through some dealers with LONG wait lists. I ordered mine mid August, I wan't supposed to get it until Nov/Dec, but the production date was moved up 4 weeks last Friday and another eweek today, so total time is about 5 months from order date.

For some great pics, I suggest getting a copy of the accesories guide from your friendly MINI dealer, it showcases an Indi Blue MINI (no S) with all the cool accessories... I just called my dealer back and had him add on the bonnet stripes once I saw it in the manual... definately a cool touch... not to mention, the black grill and rally lights! I love this thing!

 

I think part of his wait is due to the Cooper'S' not being available in INDI Blue until end of September production. That's what I was told from my dealer when inquired about that color. But decided on the dark silver instead of waiting until December for the car. It's already been 3 months waiting. The Indi Blue was THAT special to wait even longer for. But I must say, it does look pretty schnazzy.

 

Lucky... I too wanted an Indi Blue, but alas, it wasn't available at the time... I ended up buying a Chili Red one... But of course, I'm getting mine either this month, or next.... :smile:

Production was moved up? WOW! maybe I can eat turkey in my new MINI!

 

I'm so excited, today I got confirmation my order has been placed! I checked the mini site using my production number and my current status is on order. Looks like I'm going to go through the many stages of excitement as my MCS progresses to each stage in the process. Any idea how long it usually takes to receive a production date? It currently lists the wrong color, but I've read other posts that say that is common at first.

My dealer forces the purchase of several dealer accessories. I don't like it, but have accepted the fact. There are some I would get anyway. Any recommendations on which ones to buy?
