Navigation & Audio How can i lock the car and do not active the alarm?

How can i lock the car and do not active the alarm?

sometimes i leave my dog in the car,
i tried to lock it and press lock again within 5 seconds, but sometime it deactive the alarm sometime it doesn't...
and the manual doesnot say how to do,
i tried this from my audi...

I think you're posting this stuff in the wrong forum (this is the "Navigation & Audio" forum). Maybe that's a good thing though as this is the ONLY forum on all of NAM that I personally look in on.

Anyway... According to the MINI Alarm System Owner's Manual you can...

... switch off the tilt alarm sensor and interior movement detector by pressing the lock button on the remote control twice in succession or by performing the locking movement twice with the key. The indicator light comes on briefly, and then flashes continuously. The tilt alarm sensor and interior movement detector are then switched off until the next time the car is unlocked and subsequently locked again.
