What HU settings do you have when you have a sub?
Ok.... Just installed a Baselink II. And let me tell you, it's great. This is the first sub I have ever had in a car and i was woundering what i do with the HU settings. Bass, treb,...etc
I have a 10" JL with 350W amp. I don't have Harmon Kardon, I have stock HU and I keep treble all the way up, bass below 1/2 for most music, occasionally 3/4 for some songs, and 1 notch front on fade. Is that what you were wondering?
Yeah thanks a lot. When I got it back from being installed, well semi-installed I did most of it, the shop guys put the treb all the way up as you said, but they put the bass all the way down. But I suppose you want mid-bass coming form the speakers right?
im running a BassLink. Im not sure if it's the I or II, but it was new
when i got it last year.
Fade about 75% to front
EQ bass - zero or one below
EQ treble - depends on your speaker, but mine are Polks and like 3 bars up.
Balance - one notch to the left (i drive with the window open... so).
Basslink setting - i forgot but the high cut was like 60 or 70Hz
volume - i have the dial under the dash.
