Degreeing the cam...

Precision Mini offers an adjustable cam sprocket... Which way should I adjust my cam if I have a ported head, better muffler, but a cvt transmission? -Jeffy.

In general, advancing the cam timing will help low end torque and throttle
response, while retarding the cam will increase top-end power.
With a cvt, I'd go for advancing it a couple degrees. This is based on knowledge
from non-MINI cars, but the same rules should apply here.
