Casper's Boo Drive III
I mentioned this event to a couple of people at the Lowe's Autofair and they seemed interested, so I thought I would open it up to the rest of the M2C2ers. Every year Donna Kimble (QueenB) hosts a Holloween drive/costume event in Gatlinburg. This years event is on Saturday Oct. 28th and most people are spending the night in Gatlinburg. I'm hoping to go, but I may have a conflict that weekend. I encourage everyone to go as I've heard it's a great event and I know Donna always puts together great drives. Cheers!

I just noticed this and thought I should add a few details. By the way, Miniwildcat won the Sunday NAMCC race at Carolina Motorsports Park by a headlight.

Casper and Friends Ghostly Drive
Saturday, October 28
Get ready for some scary fun with your Mini friends.
Come on and join us for an early dinner at in Gatlinburg at the
haunted Greenbrier Restaurant. Dress up your Mini for a jaunt
through Gatlinburg and then brave the darkness for a drive set to
haunting music. Rumour has it that the Great Pumpkin will return this year.
Meet for dinner at 4:00 to 4:30.
If you want to do the drive only, show up at the restaurant about 5:30 or 6:00.
For accomodations, several are staying at the
Gillette Motel in Gatlinburg on Historic Nature Trail.

It is very important to RSVP for this drive as a CD is
prepared to enhance your haunting pleasure.

It's hard to put into words just how fun this drive is! Picture if you will, darkened roads, nay pitch black save for little mini/MINI headlights. Dead leaves blowing through the roads ... was that a ghost? Dried limbs outstretched, clutching at you from the graves beyond ... trees perhaps, or are they ghouls caught grasping for their souls?
and then there's this errie music coming from my CD player making me feel like I was on my own personal haunted mansion ride.
You'd never think that going 20MPH in a MINI could be so much fun!
