Anyone know where I can pick up some Wilwood brake pads in the LA area? I would get them from Todd but ran out of time and need them for a track day this weekend. Looking for the BP-10's.

You might try Porterfield Enterprises. I'm not certain if they have the DP caliper pads in stock or not. You can also go directly to Wilwood (Camarillo) and get them from Carl 805-388-1188.

I have a set of BP-10, for FSL calipers, that you can have for free but I live in Santa Maria, CA which depending on where you live might be a 2-3 hour drive. Wilwood is located in Camarillo, CA so they might be within driving distance. I did not like the BP-10s so I replaced them after very few miles.

Personally, I would not use the BP-10s for a track day. Based on various NAM posts, the BP-10s appear to be a little too soft for track days. I use Wilwood 7420-Bs for track days.

For the street, I use Hawk HPS but I had to modify the backing plate (just had to grind a notch on the top) to work on the FSL calipers. I have heard that the Hawk HPS can withstand some track day use. It might be easier to find Hawk Pads in your area. For the FSL caliper, the Hawk HPS number is HB101F.800. If you are using different calipers, the grinding mod may not even be necessary. It depends on the backing plate style. There are many alternative pads that can be used with Wilwood calipers and it might be easier to find an alternative pad.
