I have heard the '07 convertable will be carry over of previous set up and new style convertable won't be out until fall '07 as an '08. Anyone can verify that? Can we order '07 convertables of the old style? We have '05 cooper conv. and want to get an "S" this fall.

 

I have heard this via motoringfile.com also.

You should get verification from the dealer when you order since they are responsible for getting you what you agree on...

Motoringfile is saying Spring 2009, until then the convertible will remain with the current body style AND engine... Gabe's sources are typically very solid...
