Drivetrain Helix TwinCharged Owners
Helix TwinCharged Owners
Hey guys/gals,
I am looking for some pictures of this system installed into a car. Does anyone have some good pictures of the under bonnet setup and of the in-cabin boost controller?
Anyone with more technical info on the install would be helpful too.
Thanks in advance. And please lets not turn this into a thread about other systems. I am looking for info about the Helix kit only, not a debate of Alta, vs SPI, vs Helix, etc....

A couple of things I notice in the photos:
(1) The small filters on the rocker covers. Are cars converted to open crankcase ventilation as a part of this conversion?
(2) As the previous owner of an MCS that caught fire due to an ABS/DSC actuator failure, I'd be worried having the RH cowl vent partition romoved and parking a hot turbocharger next to this part.
These are wild vehicles for sure, and it's impressive that Helix and others have gotten this to work within the tight confines of the MCS engine bay, but are these really enjoyable cars to own? My impression (as one who has not driven one) is that great restraint must be excercised to avoid (1) exceeding the handling capabilities of the basic chassis design, and (2) expensive tickets/police car rides for criminal speeding.
