Maybe there's already something (informal) organized ... but is anyone planning a MINI (small) gathering to go down to St. Louis from points near Chicago?

I'm leaving from near Schaumburg on the VERY early afternoon of the 29th.

Yes, there is another thread. I am leaving EARLY in morning on the 29th. I want to leave early as to be able to stop along the way. We will see, I may want to get there a few hours early if I can tour the LV house.

PS How do you add that photo to your signature?

 

Not naive. The LV house is a pre-fab house by an architect that I like. I was going to go down there last summer but it didn't happen. It is a bit south of st. louis.

The signature, just choose a picture, upload it to your gallery and then go to the user cp link on the left of the screen. You will see the link for the signature. Paste the link of your picture into the signature and save it. The FAQ will tell you how big the picture can be. Knowing a bit about HTML and graphics will be good.

 

Also, if you want to take a really great tour, stop off at the Dana-Thomas house in Springfield. I stopped by last weekend, simply amazing.
